*** JULY 2007 Think Pink Celebrity Debate ***

We were delighted to be presented the opportunity to become involved in The Celebrity Think Pink Debate, held on the 12th of July 2007 at Brisbane City Hall. The event is organised annually to raise money for the Wesley Hospital Kim Walters Choices Program.

This years debate topic "Queensland is in the Pink" gave us an exciting design opportunity for the trophy keepsake that was presented to each Celebrity who participated in the event, including; Channel 7's Mark Beretta, former AFL player Sam Kekovich, radio personality Ian Maurice, and Comedian Corinne Grant.

Pictured left is the final product. A resin crystal cut award, selected to best display the pink colour filled engraving areas. For an extra touch of glitter and glam, a single pink Swarovski Crystal was adhered to the top of the 'i' in pink.

ALSO IN JULY... 2007 RAIL TRAIL FUN RUN

Each year Engraving Plus has been honoured to provide Medals and Trophies for the Lowood to Fernvale Rail Trail Fun Run. This year set a new participation record with 605 runners and walkers registered for the event.

COMING UP IN AUGUST... POLICE LEGACY GOLF DAY

A favourite annual event of the Engraving Plus Head Office Team is the Ipswich CIB Charity Golf Day in support of the Queensland Police Legacy. For those of you who don't know... The Queensland Police Legacy organisation is a program dedicated to improving the quality of life to the families of Police Officers who have lost their lives in the performance of their duties.

This day provides an opportunity for Ipswich business to have a "ball" (so to speak) with local Police while raising much needed funds for a great program. Click to read more about QUEENSLAND POLICE LEGACY
