Creating your dream invitation or stationery piece may at first feel a little overwhelming... however, our job is to assist you with your creation any way we can. So relax and enjoy your experience.
The first step for us, is to establish your preferred invitation or stationery item sizing. We can assist you with this, or you may have already made this decision based on your requirements.
Then… have you decided on your wording of the invitation or stationery item? Do you need some help with this? Ask us any questions on your mind about how to word your item/s.
For invitation ordering; do you already have an idea in mind of how you would like your invitations to look? What first impression would you like your invited guests to have when they receive/open/read your Invitation? Have you decided on a theme or inspiration for your Wedding or Event? Have you decided on flowers and/or colours or prominent decorations and features? Answers to any of these questions will assist us to provide you with more ideas and options to help inspire the overall finish of your invitation.
Are you mailing all of your invitations? Or handing most of them out? Did you want to present them in an invitation box, or an envelope, or a mixture of both?
If you are ordering a stationery item to compliment a suite you are creating yourself from a few different sources, or if you are ordering through another stationer, we can work with you and/or your designer to co-ordinate our supplied piece with your exisiting design elements.
We customise the entire invitation or stationery item based on your desired theme and colours. We work on this with you until we have provided an invitation or stationery item that you feel is exactly what you want.
A basic overview of ordering engraved invitations is: Once sizing, wording and design ideas are established, we can then begin work on a digital engraving layout for your viewing, this will include a design board to help visualise your completed invitation.
Once we are completed the digital engraving layout to exactly as you would like to have it, and you are happy with the pricing we provide for your order, the fun really begins! We engrave an actual proof of your invitation and take photos of it for your viewing (full order payment is required prior to production of the engraved proof). If you wish to receive the actual proof for “hands-on” viewing, an additional charge of $25.00 will be applicable (for a basic proof. If your proof includes accessories it may calculate to more, we can advise on this further once we finalise any accessories you may wish to have to complete the overall finish to your invitations or stationery item. Includes delivery of your proof). If you are dissatisfied with your invitation or stationery item proof, you may cancel your order for a full refund (excluding the actual proof, if you request to receive it for “hands on” approval).
Delivery charges are additional and will be best priced once your invitation combination has been finalised.
Please allow 1 to 3 weeks design and proof time (photographs of a completed proof for approval prior to full production is provided as part of our service. If time permits, as mentioned above, a fully engraved and assembled proof of your invitation can be posted to you for approval. This service requires additional time to allow for delivery), plus 2 to 8 weeks engraving and assembly time, plus delivery time (1 to 10 business days depending on your location in Australia or overseas). Therefore overall production and delivery time will range between 4 to 12 weeks. Urgent orders are considered on application and may incur additional charges to upgrade to a Priority Order.
